Just to share something that made me laugh uncontrollably.
I met a client today and after as usual, I took a taxi back to the office.

[cabbie] what is that fella doing. move left, right or what. what is that fella doing

*cabbie overtakes the driver and is prepared to swear

*cabbie notices that it is a woman driving

*woman was pretty, and incredibly cute as she was biting on her lip, brow furrowed in intense concentration


[cabbie] aiyah woman driver, you know la..



*cabbie smiles at me



[grace] haha uncle don't bluff, it's a pretty lady that's why right



[cabbie] no la, Uncle gentleman!



[grace] uncle, you should have seen how your expression morphed. it was classic



*graces laughs uncontrollably



[cabbie] smart girl ah.. hehe

The persuasive powers of a woman, or rather, just being a woman.

P.S. she was not even aware that a heated sign language exchange could have happened.

Sometimes you're forced to face all that vulnerability.
I thought I concealed all that hurt rather well.
Then it all comes unexpectedly..wham..

Dear girl,

I'm really blessed to have gotten to know you. Despite being in a competitve environment, I'm able to share my ups and downs with you. We've shopped till we've dropped, eaten till we swear to go on diets and even slogged at yoga together.

I love this picture of us. It makes me feel all bubbly and warm. The sunset of beautiful and so is our friendship.

Work Frustrations

I feel so frustrated at work today.

I'm going to buy myself a chocolate bar because I deserve it.
