Rain and Single eyelids
I was surfing for a droolworthy picture of rain and drifted off to read his biography.
Rain was once rejected by a talent company because he had single eyelids despite his insane ability to sing and dance.
I'm indignant about it! Hmph!
Single eyelids people unite!!

Boys Over Flowers
Last Saturday, I chanced upon boys over flowers on TV. It's very much like Taiwanese Meteor Garden. I found the lead actor, alot like Dao Ming Si. Very nice..
My best friend, Alethea, my sisters and I spent our stayovers watching Meteor Garden, eating nuggets with chili sauce during the school vacation. Hence, I'm amazed at how I'm still overly excited about the drama!
I bought the DVDS!!
Hahaha!
Rain, I still love you more than all the Korean actors. I still love you and fullhouse more!

Funny observations
Every morning, when I wake up, I spend 20 mins showering and getting ready for work. I don't need breakfast, just a cup of water will suffice. In my hurry, I probably don't notice things people around me do.
At the new office, with new gorgeous colleagues who are ex airstewardesses, I'm often asked leading questions to a healthy conversation. I appreciate that, the effort in trying to make me feel like I belong.
The questions were perculiar to me though.
Do I do a lot of outdoor activities? Do I gym frequently? Do I have an ang moh boyfriend?
R, being a sweet girl, asked innocently if I only dated ang mohs because:
I look like a nice SPG.
.. .. .. R
laughed, I laughed..
By the way, it's supposed to be a compliment.

I'm young and cool
I met Uncle Robin over an lunch appointment. He's a lawyer. Very sharp, detailed, analytical and very very charming. He had 2 girls attached to his law firm. The girls were on an interesting programme which allows them to have exposure to various occupation for a week. The 2 secondary school girls were attached to Uncle Robin's law firm. When I met him for lunch, he introduced me to the two 15 years old girls, Priscilla Lim and Priscilla Tay. He wanted them to talk to me about my work so that they can understand what I do.
They made me laugh and I think I made an impression because I received a reply from Uncle Robin via my mail.
"Hi Grace,
Thanks for the additional info.
The Priscillas are having their last day today. In the debrief they mentioned that it was interesting meeting up with the clients and mentioned the enjoyable lunch they had with Grace Tye. I asked them why it was enjoyble and Pris Lim said she was young and cool.... unlike..... Thanks for chatting with them.
Enjoy your weekend and greeting to parents and family."
It made me laugh out loud.

Les Chattes
Meooowwwwww!
Hello World! I apologise for the lack of diligence in blogging! I've been so busy juggling work, dancing and the dance competition I was in. To all my beloved friends who voted for me, thank you! I hope the phone bills aren't too high. -winces-
Introducing Les Chattes! To the French speaking compatriots, I know it means pussy! It wasn't supposed to be!! -grrr- My dance partner Renae, asked a mutual friend of ours, Francois on what cats are called in French. He jokingly said Les Chattes, jolly well knowing that it meant pussy instead of cats. Renae thought he was serious and Viola! LES CHATTES.. that was how we got our team name :)
Renae and I were determined to win the competition and put in all we've got. Practices after work, putting our costumes together... hours and hours spent honing the steps and changing choreography after receiving constructive comments from those who have seen it.. it gave it all we've got and though we came in 2nd, I've got not an ounce of regret.
On the big day, the 2 guys who have been with Renae and me all the way - Our handsome friend Flo, the angry ang mo of Singapore.
Receiving our prizes.. At that moment, I was struggling to smile cause I knew the first prize was between us the 4th team.. we had a shot.. it was a close fight. Then again $1000 for 2nd ain't that bad and I won much more. I had my boyfriend cheering me on, my wonderful German friend, Flo who came despite being sick.. and Renae and I got even closer in through the practices that stretched for 3 months since our first audition.
Went for a birthday party after the competition. I looked tired...it was 1 am! Ever since I've started work, I hardly last beyond midnight..
