A very special dedication

For the wonderful times we'vehad since getting together.. for all good and bad times. You've never stopped being patient, loving, hilarious and supportive. For all the investment in sinful food, hogging the cinemas and the sweating in gyms..for all the drying of tears and going cranky togther. Thank you for putting up with my endless ravings and rantings. You've made me really happy.. -hugs-

It's friday! Felt extremely lethargic from the busy, long week at work, meeting friends till late and from over-exercising. I can't help it! Exercise is the HOTNEWANTIDEPRESSANT! I love the adrenalin rush, the healthy pink glow from perspiration and the little perk-me-ups that come with exercise! It's an added bonus that exercise tones up the body. I hope this doesn't come out bimbotic!!

It's a huge relief knowing it's a friday. As much as I love my new working environment and my colleagues, being given bigger roles and more responsibility at work also bring about more stress! On one hand, I'm flattered that Lavs, Jac, Anita and Lin include me on their projects, on the other hand, I'm a little intimidated by the complexity. I admire these ladies. They're independent, dedicated, confident, capable and are style mavens in their unique way. I do want to meet their expectations and perhaps do a little better because I know I can if I try hard enough but there's always this nagging feeling of carelessness. I know I can afford to be more meticulous and organised! I think I'll mentally chant "If they can do it, I can do it" every morning so that added confidence. The placebo effect perhaps? -grin-

Well, monday and wednesday were eventful. I had the famous ang mo kio claypot crab bee hoon!! Except that it was at new the branch at Toa Payoh..(it's not that crowded but the food is as nice). I'm not a seafood fanatic but the salt and pepper crab, butter crab and of course the claypot one was fantasticandyummyandmeantforgluttonslikeme! teeheehee!! I had a blast witht he advertising gang!

Wednesday was even better. I had a great time at Bar Stop with my DHL girls. I think no matter what, girls will be girls. I was a little reserved and shy but I loveloveloved the juicy gossip on hot guys, work and everythingunderthesun! Jac speaks her mind while Dorene compliments her by being hilariously blunt. Jaime's really nice but when she pokes fun, she adds flavour to the conversation. Lavs is extremely witty! She has one heck of a command of language and is ever ready for a funny retort. Steph's cool too. I like it when she supports her own argument and yet thread carefully, careful not to offend.

Sometimes I wish I have more of an attitude as a girl. I'm labelled little girl or miss nice and I don't want it. Now I'm going to sound all feministic but I don't care! I have to rant!!! I don't want to be taken for granted and I hereby announce that I'm going to develop some healthy attitude!!

Congrats!!

4 years of vibrant uni life. Congrats dearie, I'm really proud of you. I'm glad I managed to take half a day off from work to attend Louis' graduation commencement. His family was so excited about it. Louis' dad and mum came in co-ordinated outfits (inicidentally) and his brother, Dino took a day off to attend the ceremony. AND being the incredible vain person, I woke up especially early to do curl my hair and put on pretty make up and a clingy tight dress for the BIG DAY! It was worth it! The smile on his face.. his family's..

Here's a picture of the brothers. There is a certain resemblance eh? Dino and I were talking in order to kill time and I commented how Hall life coloured my life in NUS as an undergrad. I met wonderful friends like Pei Huan, Shuting, Siding, Amanda, Lorraine, Yuimin, Andrea and Qinmei. These girls are the ones I go bawling to whenever I need to rant. Hall was also where I got my heart broken. Hall was where I fell in love again.. Hall was where I found fellow dancers and formed a girl group. Hall was where I had crazy, late nights. I was always be grateful for the experience that made my NUS life vibrant.

A few more months in Eusoff Hall, in NUS. I'm going to miss being a student. The carefree days, dance practice, stressful mugging period... I'm going to make the best out of it. I'm going to live by 'No Regrets' .
I'm going to end my time as a NUS undergrad with no regrets!

I miss blogging!

It has been more than a week since my last entry. I've been so tired lately, probably due to the faithful pilgrimage to the gym and meeting up my friends in town on most weekends. By the time I get home at around 10-11, I go straight to the bed! Despite the rigorous training regime of disruptive Eusoff Hall life, I still cannot adapt to sleeping less than 9 hours a day! I need my sleep! It keeps me happy, cheerful and ready to go!! I'm not complaining though cause I love my work and meeting up with a different bunch of close friends everyday. In fact, I'm going to gloat about my fantasticfabulousfun weekend! I watched transformers and Christina Aguilera's concert!!!! -puffs chest- Both left an impact!! Transformers was way better than I expected. I was holding my breath half the time, while the other half wanted to plant myself right in the movie in order to join the fight. I'm in loveeeee...with the autobots, especially MY Octamus Prime (if that's how you spell it). He's mine mine mine!!!

Christina Aguilera's concert was worth every cent paid. Despite her pregnancy, she was radiant on stage, dancing with exuberant energy. I love her "back-to-basics" look. Bouncyblond curls, an all white wardrobe and that BIG voice coming out of such a petite frame. The 1.5 hour concert demonstrated her stamina, pitch-perfect singing and infectious energy. I loved every bit, every song, especially her back-up dancers! Triple spins, perfect rhythm on heels, that energy and confidence. It reminded me of how much I miss dancing. I should practice for my up coming performance soon!

Weekends are my favourite cause I hardly get to see Louis nowadays. Time just seems to pass faster, especially when I'm having a great time. He took me to lunch before watching transformers at New York New York, a cafe near City Hall MRT. The food is FANTABULOUS!!! I loved the decor as well, especially the clever, eye-catching taglines on the menus and walls. I think now that I'm in advertising, I become more aware of presentations, taglines, colours and layouts. I recognise the effort behind it and I've become more appreciative of quick-witted creativity! Saturday was so blissful...
I had a buffet lunch at Kushin-bo, Suntec city on Sunday. It was Louis' mum's birthday and so we stuffed out faces with the array of Japanese dishes. I adore their soup and ice cream!!! Green tea ice cream!! Yum! (hence, I'm working out like mad this week to compensate) Since I can't resist food, I just have to LOVE exercise huh? The endorphins released guarantee a feel-good factor!!

Christina Aguilera!!!!
